Jason is completing his Ph.D. in Food Science studying the intersection of Taste, Diet, and the Microbiome at Cornell University. While at Cornell, he co-founded Antithesis Foods, a food technology company working to make better-for-you foods through cutting edge food science. Their first product is Grabanzos, a crunchy chocolate snack powered by chickpeas. Prior to his work at Cornell, Jason worked in the pharmaceutical industry doing basic research on antibody drug development and neurological disease diagnostics. He holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Penn State University and is a native of Philadelphia. |

Amy Grace Funcik holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in food science and technology from Clemson University, who is now the founder of AUXA. Envisioned while stranded on a sailboat in March of 2020, funded by a stimulus check, and motivated by a graduate degree, AUXA launched its first product, AUXA Mix, in May 2020 with the goal of making healthy eating easier for everyone. AUXA Mix is a dry grain and seed mixture that can be added to just about anything for added nutrients. |
